we get attached to what we think we know. go on defense when they expect a show. sit on the fence where we lament what the neighbors grow cause everything looks better and the grass is always greener in the afterglow. i got your postcard, i got your clothes. i’ve got your taste i’ve got your nose. i try my best to stay composed singing a song i wrote. i put some miles on that car. when i’m feeling sad i drive it far. and it doesn’t matter where you are when you don’t know where you are going, when you’re leaving, or what you’re looking for. you touch the ceiling, i touch my toes. whatever i’m feeling no one knows. it’s an empty building in my bones. everyone moved out awhile ago. in the afterglow.

Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
